This is a short sampling of my work during my time storyboarding on Gravity Falls Season 2, my first fulltime gig as a storyboard artist. The crew somehow got into the habit of making little posters for each new episode that we worked on. I ended up running out of steam before the end of the season, but here are some of the ones I liked!

The first episode I ever worked on (of any show!! ever!!) was “Soos and the Real Girl.” We ended up having a couple of days at the beginning of the rotation before the script was ready to hand out*, so Alex asked us to come up with some concepts for Giffany, a “monster of the week” based on Japanese dating sims. I also got to voice her in the scratch dialogue!
There’s also a little commission of Grunkle Stan at the end. This one isn’t related to the episode (or any episode) at all; I just wasn’t sure where to put it.
*Note: this happened with some regularity. Looking back, I genuinely have no idea how the schedule for this show worked?
