Sage Cotugno

Hello! I’m a supervising director, writer, and storyboard artist living in Los Angeles. My past projects include an unannounced fantasy/mystery series at Titmouse/Apple+, Long Story Short (Netflix/ShadowMachine), The Owl House, Star vs. the Forces of Evil, and Gravity Falls (Disney TV, credited as Sabrina Cotugno). Currently, I am available for work in directing, storyboarding, and development! I love creating dynamic sequences that combine anime-inspired action with grounded, character-focused humor and building supportive environments to help my team do their best work.

The second volume of my graphic novel series/webcomic The Glass Scientists was published by Penguin Random House in Fall 2024. Available wherever books are sold.
